Dr. Carr was born and raised in Laurel, MD. She attended Laurel High School, University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelors in Hearing and Speech Sciences graduating in 1988. Dr. Carr was a MD pom-pon girl for 2 years, 1983 and 1984, then becoming a Washington Redskins Cheerleader for 5 seasons (1985-1989). Because of her love of health and patients, Dr. Carr has worked in the medical community and health care community most of her adult life. Various employments have been AphA, Kimbrough Hospital in Physical Therapy for Champus insurance during the Desert Storm, many PT offices locally as a PT Aide, and Columbia Medical Plan in the ENT department with otolaryngologists. Her doctorate was obtained in Dallas, TX at Parker College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Donna?s love for sports and health, shows in her treatments, amount of continuing .education classes and care she puts into her patients. She has her CCSP, Certified Chiropractic Sport Practitioner, and has attended 300 hours of neurology. Dr. Carr has been taught 8 different techniques and works on and adjusts all joints from spinal to extremity (arms, legs, ribs jaw, etc.). Her past physical therapy jobs and experience have been carried through to her office and she tries to motivate patients in rehabilitation )stretching, strength and endurance) or training at their home.
